Cliche as it is, I have had a passion for photography for many years. I am self taught in my art, like most artists, and am always studying to learn the technical aspects to further my talent and abilities. I truly love what I do, on a personal level as well as for "clients", or friends, as many of them become. It is such a pleasure for me to photograph people's special occassions.
I am a mother to three beautiful children and happily married to my other half (in case you're wondering, I'm the better half haha). I love spending time with my ever growing children and making life as fun as possible.
I was recently published in issue 98 of Midwifery Today Magazine, a magazine published world-wide for birth professionals. One of my favorite birth photos was printed on page 19 of that issue. I hope to continue to contribute to the magazine and other published works as time goes on.
I believe in simplicity. That the subject of a photo should be the main focus with no distractions. I do work with some props (a cute hat on a naked newborn, for example) but nothing overboard, nothing garish. Just you, your baby, your life...as art.
